Amalfi Coast: The Recap

Our time on the Amalfi Coast held day after day of stunning views, lots of limoncello spritz cocktails and a plethora of good food and artisans! From local ceramic shops to ancestral lemon farms, historic villa tours to the iconic “blue grotto” of Capri, our creative cups were overflowing.

After full days of wandering up and down the windy steps of each coastal town, we had the opportunity to share times set aside for guided journaling exercises and architectural sketching. Seeking to pause, reflect and learn to really see our surroundings.

Yes, we agree, Austin Kleon, “Your brain gets too comfortable in your everyday surroundings. You need to make it uncomfortable. You need to spend some time in another land, among people that do things differently than you. Travel makes the world look new, and when the world looks new, our brains work harder.”
